HSK 3.0 word lists
The HSK (汉语水平考试) is the standard test of Chinese as a foreign language, and its 2021 revision — HSK 3.0 — reorganized the vocabulary into seven bands: levels 1 through 6, then one combined advanced band spanning levels 7–9. The lists below are the complete bands as this app ships them, 10,923 words in all.
Each list is ordered by corpus frequency rather than alphabetically, because that is the order worth learning in: the words at the top of HSK 4 appear in daily life constantly, while the bottom of the same list can wait. Words link to their own page — meaning, pinyin, examples — when they are among the most useful two thousand.
